Dear members and friends,

Because of the dangerous surge in COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, and based on guidance from the UCC Minnesota Conference, we will be going back to more careful precautions in church.

First, our in-person coffee hour fellowship will be canceled until infection rates return to a more reasonable level.

Second, we encourage you to consider joining our worship services online rather than in person, especially if you have health issues that put you at risk.

Third, we strongly encourage mask wearing while in church. We will also ask those in the church to keep masks on and to refrain from singing out on the hymns. Singing quietly or humming are safer.

We will consider the situation week by week, and will keep you informed about any changes.

This setback is disappointing for all of us, but it’s important to do our part to reduce the transmission of the virus. Let’s continue to pray that this will soon be over.
