  • Concerns: Jeremy’s father had a heart attack on Monday, cold weather (need a break), JoAnn’s surgery, Sue’s grandnephew (Dillon), Terry’s nephew (Justin), family of Mary VanDerPol, people of North Carolina (drinking water), California (lack of water), family of Dick Rosetter, and Judy Smith’s husband (Bruce in Clara City Nursing Home).
  • Joys: YME Dance Team on their way to State, 10 hours of daylight (gained 20 minutes this week), Bea Read’s oldest grandson (Eagle Scout Award), Karen spending every Wednesday with her Mom who has hearing problems, Olympics and Joan Lundell’s brother is doing well after lung transplant.

  • Concerns: Jeremy’s Uncle Steve (suffered a heart attack), Sue’s grandnephew (Dylan is undergoing chemo), Pearl’s daughter (JoAnn is having knee surgery on Wednesday), and Cindy Buyert.
  • Joys: Installation of the new Conference Minister (Sherry Presteman), which took place in Minneapolis, fun community activities in the past two weeks, and Laura and YME Silhouette dancers and their success.

  • Concerns: Ice is treacherous, Sue’s Mom is in hospital, Sue’s grand nephew starting chemo (brain tumor), Terry’s nephew (Justin), North Korea and China, leadership of North Korea and its growing isolation, people of West Virginia (chemical contaminants to water), and three grandchildren growing up in Colorado (keep their faith strong).
  • Joys: Dinner At Your Door (all the drivers this week (joy to be doing it this week instead of last week).

  • Joys: New door is in, JoAnn spending time with Pearl, Caroling Wednesday night, six baptisms in Montevideo today, Stukels’ new grandchild, (Noelle Emily) and Spencer’s joy to be ice fishing.

  • We have ordered 2 nice large poinsettias from the flower shop for the altar area for Christmas. If you would like to contribute to these bouquets in memory of a loved one or honor a loved one this Christmas, please sign the sheet that will be on the back table at church. Joys and Concerns

  • Concerns: Pearl’s great-granddaughter has a virus, Ruchele’s finances’ grandfather in hospital and on his way to nursing home, anyone who is homeless and otherwise endangered by the cold and LaVonne’s sister, Ruth.
  • Joys: Gene and Helen Stukel are grandparents, life of leaders like Nelson Mandela, Jeremy seeing his family last week, children at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for a wonderful Christmas, and joy of guests at our worship.
