Meatball Dinner
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, January 7, at 7:30 pm for all those interested in helping to plan the meatball dinner, scheduled for Fat Tuesday (February 17).

Joys and Concerns
- Concerns: Attacks on law enforcement officers, troops that are away from home, people dealing with illness/flu, everyone who will be traveling for the holidays, family of Orin Jordet who suffered a massive stroke yesterday and Arlene Zempel.
- Joys: Ethan is here, family here is a “pew of joy”, wonderful school holiday concert with Ali, Laura, and Jeff, Gaffney’s Christmas, a granddaughter for the Bergman’s, and Dan Mooney’s birthday on December 18.

- Concerns: Judy Slettedahl (eye surgery and needs to lay flat on her back for recovery), Jim Olson (friends of Stukels with Cancer diagnoses), people of color and justice, anniversary of Sandy Hook, Sally (Mike just moved to Boston), and Syria, Turkey, and Iraq.
- Joys: Hazel’s surgery went well, Ruby (drivers for Dinner At Your Door and sister had knee replacement and is doing well), May Peterson is doing very well, and Lois and John Berend celebrating 60th Anniversary.

- Concerns: Peg’s cousin Kathy and anyone suffering from Cancer, nations struggling with how to find peace, refugees displaced by fighting, issues of violence and racial fears, innocent lives lost in our country, Jody Hempel and Ann Orth.
- Joys: Karen attended Cup of Christmas Cheer in Monte (good food and conversation), and hope for warm temperatures later this week to melt ice.

- Concerns: Families of Sherry Kally and LeRoy Jacobson, sister Barb Ordahl, those dealing with cancer and depression and Nikki Gaffaney.
- Joys: Beautiful Christmas card (made by Bryan and Peggy Mooney), all who helped decorate the church, Paula Soine flower arrangements, Dick Anderson’s technical expertise with microphones, opportunity to visit with family during Thanksgiving, and LaVonne’s Mother’s 99th birthday celebration.

- Concerns: Family of Lois Owens, church leadership (Rob not here to lead us in the Minnesota Rouser), folks with Iran seem to be stuck, military troops on extended stays in Afghanistan and going to Africa, Sally Thoma’s son (Mike is moving from Sioux City to Boston before Christmas), and people in Buffalo, NY area.
- Joys: Ali thanks those attending her recital, after seven years, Rob is in his last year of heading the Mat Club (Chicken Dinner Fundraiser tonight), Jeremy’s joy of being part of church family (we all wish him well), May is happy and looking less colorful (thanks to everyone), Europe able to land vehicle on a Comet, Jeremy’s Mom’s joyful for the welcome we gave her son and is happy to have him back home), joy of the season and having many thing to be thankful for.
